Hey Anthem Church!
We are so excited for this weekend as we step into our media fast and prayer room. For those of you that don't know, a couple years ago we created a space on our property to use as a dedicated prayer space. From time to time we will run intentional times "in the prayer room" to call the church to a particular time of contending or reflection. This is one of those times of contending. We have called on Anthem to take the 4 days leading up to the election to devote ourselves to prayer. We are working to fill the waking hours of Friday-Monday in the prayer room. It has been amazing to see the response so far. There are some spots still to fill, so I wanted to encourage those of you that have never spent time in the prayer room to step out and sign up for an hour. You may not think that you can pray for an hour, but it is amazing to see how God uses the time to shape us and grow us.
This Sunday is our All In Sunday! We will be taking the time to put our attention on what it means to be a "sent" people. These All In Sundays have been a rich time of coming together as a church to be challenged, equipped and to enjoy time together as a church family! Please take the time to RSVP and join us this Sunday evening at 4PM!

Join us as we turn off all forms of news and social media for a few days to turn our attention to the One who holds it all.
We’ll have the prayer room available and would love to fill all waking hours on Nov 1-4. Join in and take an hour or two in the prayer room as we give God our burdens for the place that we we live and intercede on behalf of those who lead us.

Join us for our last All-In Sunday of the year where we'll dive into what it means for us to be a sent people. Let's have dinner, share stories, and more! Childcare will be provided for toddlers to 5th grade.

Sound techs needed for Sunday gatherings at Anthem! No previous experience needed. Desired commitment is one Sunday per month. If you are considering serving in this role we would love to have you attend our sound training session November 23. If you have experience as a sound tech, musician of any level, or just enjoy music you might be a great fit.

Join us for our last 2024 Welcome Lunch. If you are new or newish to Anthem Thousand Oaks, this lunch is for you. It’s an opportunity for you to get to know us a little bit and ask any questions you’d like, and its an opportunity for us to get to know you’re story a bit too! We'll provide for you and your family, please let us know if you have any food allergies.

Join us as we usher in the holiday season by coming to our Advent Night, Nov 24th from 4-6pm.
There is a $20 registration per family with kids ($10 without kids) which covers a memorable Advent craft for you to create and take home. We will have a hot chocolate bar and Christmas treats for all to enjoy. This is a great night for anyone who is part of the Anthem family—whether you are single or married, have kids or not. We would love to celebrate the start of the Christmas season together!
Registration closes November 18th, to ensure we have an accurate amount of supplies.

One of the things we're working on this year is improving the frequency, and clarity with which we give updates on the finances of Anthem Church. The plan, for now, is to give a brief monthly update, with a bit more of a robust update quarterly. Just like always, we are an open book!
